Biography

Mr. Elcanor Mang-Usan began his Taekwondo journey at the young age of seven in 2016 at Bravehearts Martial Arts. Despite facing early doubts and challenges, his determination never wavered. With the steadfast love and support from his parents, and the encouragement from his family, he found the strength to persevere and follow his passion.

In 2018, Mr. Mang-Usan advanced his training at the Courageous Martial Arts Training Center under the expert mentorship of Coach Philbert Juanito. It was there that he refined his discipline, sharpened his skills, and strengthened his commitment to the sport.

Competition Achievements

Mr. Mang-Usan's journey as a competitor is marked by remarkable successes. From his early victories in local tournaments to competing on the national stage and eventually representing at international competitions, he has continuously showcased talent, discipline, and perseverance.

  • Gold medal in Poomsae and Bronze medal in Kyorugi at the 2024 MBW International Taekwondo Championships in Malaysia
  • Four gold medals in Poomsae, Regular Kyorugi, Elite Kyorugi, and Speed Kicking, along with a silver medal in Wood Breaking at the 2025 Asian Taekwondo Club Open in Shenzhen, China
  • Three gold medals and one silver medal at the 2025 Grand Slam Youth Global Finals in Chengdu, China
